ROCKMAN - Mk.gee

Thurday night, (October 17th) I opened up Spotify and gasped when I saw that Mk.gee released a new single, "ROCKMAN". The artist had teased the song at a few shows throughout his tour, but had not formally announced its release. This song could not have been written by anyone but Mk.gee. It features his trademark plucky guitar that loops through the whole three minutes. When speaking with a friend of mine about the single, she said that he is not "beating the reggae allegations" with "ROCKMAN". I had not heard about this turmoil, but I can definitely hear some reggae influences. While "ROCKMAN" is not his best work, it was a wonderful surprise and I hope that this means more music is coming soon.
